Refund and Deposit Policy

1. Overview
This policy sets out the terms relating to deposits, payments, cancellations, and refunds for services provided by RSVPmadeSimple. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By proceeding with a purchase, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment terms
Payment is required in full before your wedding website goes live. We do not release the live site until payment has been received and cleared.
For some packages or arrangements, a deposit may be requested to secure your project and begin work. Where a deposit is taken, the remaining balance is due before your site goes live. We will confirm payment terms clearly when we set up your project.
3. Deposit terms
We do not require any payment upfront to begin your project.
We will first create your website preview so you can review the design, content, and overall look before making any payment.
If you are on our Premium package and would like to secure your chosen custom domain, we will ask for a deposit at that stage. This deposit is used to secure the domain for your project.
If you decide not to proceed before paying the deposit or final balance, you are free to cancel with no charge.
Any deposit paid to secure a custom domain is non-refundable once the domain has been purchased or registered on your behalf.
4. Cancellation by the customer
If you wish to cancel your project, please notify us as soon as possible by email at admin@rsvpmadesimple.co.uk.
- Cancellation before any payment is made — you are free to cancel your project at any time before making any payment. No fee will be charged.
- Cancellation after a domain deposit is paid but before final payment — if you have paid a deposit to secure a custom domain and then choose to cancel, the deposit will not be refunded once the domain has been purchased or registered on your behalf. No further payment will be due.
- Cancellation before launch and before full payment — you may cancel at any time before approving your preview and making full payment. Apart from any non-refundable domain deposit already used to secure a domain, no further charges will apply.
- Cancellation after launch — once you have approved your preview, made full payment, and your website has been made live, no refund will be available. Your website will remain available for the rest of your 12-month hosting period.
5. Cancellation by RSVPmadeSimple
We reserve the right to cancel a project in exceptional circumstances, for example if we are unable to complete the work due to an event outside our reasonable control. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of any amounts paid that relate to work not yet completed.
6. Hosting extensions
Hosting extensions are available for purchase through your customer portal and are subject to separate terms confirmed at the time of renewal. Extension fees are non-refundable once issued.
7. Domain registration
For Premium package customers, the custom domain registration fee is included in the package price. Domain registration fees are non-refundable once the domain has been registered, as domain names are reserved with third-party registrars and cannot be recovered.
8. Upgrade from Standard to Premium
If you wish to upgrade from Standard to Premium after your project has begun, please contact us. We will confirm the additional cost based on the work required at that stage. Upgrades are subject to availability.
9. Consumer rights
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection legislation are not affected by this policy. Where our services are supplied to consumers, you may have a right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, by requesting that we begin work before the 14-day cancellation period has expired, you acknowledge that your right to cancel within that period is forfeited in relation to services already performed.
10. How to request a refund
To request a refund or discuss cancellation, please contact us at admin@rsvpmadesimple.co.uk. Please include your name and order reference. We will respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 working days.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund and Deposit Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. The policy in effect at the time of your order applies to your purchase.
